Juan Pablo Sanjur González, violin 

 

Juan Pablo was born in Los Santos, Panama, on August 21, 1993. At the age of 8, he began his violin studies at the National Conservatory of Music of Panama (INAM) with Professor Ioan Rotar. Together with Magister Graciela Nuñez he continues his studies of superior violin, until 2014, year in which he is awarded a scholarship for one year, for studies at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, Italy. During his stay in Italy, he is guided by the teacher and violinist Fulvio Leofreddi. He has been a member of the National Symphony Orchestra of Panama since 2012, with which he has been a soloist on multiple occasions (2014, 2016). He has received lessons and master classes from teachers such as Oryana Racines, Manfred Croci, Eddy Marcano, Yuri Namkung, among others. He has participated in various national and international groups, such as the Central American Youth Orchestra (2012, 2013, 2016), Orquesta del Festival Alfredo Saint Malo (2009, 2011), Orquesta de los 40 años del Ministerio de Cultura de Costa Rica ( 2011), Orchestra of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory (2015); Orquesta de Cámara RomÆnsamble (2015), Orquesta Iberoamericana (2013), among others. He is currently Violinist of the National Symphony Orchestra of Panama and is a founding member of Consort-Musik.
